AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY — A 14-year-old boy has died following a bicycle crash at Stromlo Forest Park on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency responders treated the teen at the scene before transporting him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite efforts to save him, he later died.
Authorities have classified the location as a road-related area due to its public access and designation for cyclists. The incident brings the ACT road toll for the year to eight.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward and provide information as investigations continue.
