The community of Sterling Heights is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Joey Marshall, whose passing has left a deep void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Born on May 22, 2001, Joey was a young man full of compassion, purpose, and a vibrant spirit. He was widely known for his kindness, humor, and his ability to bring light into difficult moments. His strength, resilience, and faith guided him through life and inspired those around him.
Joey was pursuing a career in nursing at Macomb Community College, driven by a genuine desire to care for others. His servant-hearted nature extended beyond his studies into his work at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, where he was appreciated for his dedication and warmth.
Faith played a central role in Joey’s life. As a member of First Church Sterling Heights, he lived out his beliefs through compassion, generosity, and love for others. He was a devoted son, brother, and friend, always putting others before himself.
Joey leaves behind a loving family, including his sisters Bianca Mori and Tiffany Marie Richert, his brother Benji Marshall, and many extended family members and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
Though his passing brings deep sorrow, his legacy of kindness, faith, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. May his memory bring comfort and strength to all who mourn his loss.
