Francis Biegaj, Death, Obituary: Man Fatally Shot Following Dispute Over Loud Music in Hernando County, Florida
The Hernando County community is mourning the tragic loss of 52-year-old Francis Biegaj, who was fatally shot on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, following a dispute at his residence. His sudden and violent passing has left family members, neighbors, and the wider community in shock and sorrow.
According to reports, deputies responded to a 911 call around 4:31 p.m. after a family member discovered Biegaj bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency responders from Hernando County Fire Rescue arrived quickly and attempted life-saving measures, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities later determined that the incident stemmed from a disagreement over loud music. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and observed a suspect leaving the area while carrying a firearm. Investigators identified the suspect as 47-year-old Tony Deuser.
Law enforcement officers established a perimeter around the suspect’s residence and took him into custody without incident after he exited the home. During questioning, Deuser reportedly admitted that he became upset over the noise and fired two shots at Biegaj after being asked to leave the property.
Tony Deuser has since been charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond at the Hernando County Detention Center.
