Las Vegas Shooting Death: Police Connect 9 Suspects to Deadly Southwest Valley Shooting
Authorities in Las Vegas have linked nine suspects to a fatal shooting that occurred in the southwest valley in the early hours of July 9, 2025, marking a major development in a months-long investigation.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded around 12:38 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the 6000 block of Coja Street, near South Cimarron Road and West Patrick Lane. Multiple 911 calls were made, including one reporting a person shot inside a garage.
When officers arrived, they found a victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by police, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators revealed that a white Dodge Charger with a black front bumper had been seen circling the neighborhood multiple times before the shooting. At one point, the vehicle stopped and several individuals exited. Authorities say approximately 30 rounds were fired, though only one person was struck.
After months of investigation, police have now connected nine individuals to the deadly incident. Seven suspects have been arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail, while two others—already in custody with the Nevada Department of Corrections—have been indicted.
All nine suspects face charges including open murder with a deadly weapon, along with additional felony offenses.
This development represents significant progress in the case, though authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim. The investigation remains ongoing as officials continue to gather evidence and prepare for prosecution.
Police are urging anyone with additional information related to the incident to come forward.
